A couple of weeks ago, I (Suzanne) shared a post at Heroes & Heartbreakers on  romance novels for comic readers. Turns out, one of Love in Panels' readers is also a reader of H&H AND works at a comic book shop! We laughed, we cried, we read a classic coming of age lesbian graphic novel. 

BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOR was recommended to me by an instructor as a masterwork of sequential art, so when I picked it up, I had high expectations. It's also won several awards and been made into a movie, which is rare for non-cape graphic novels.

It's a lesbian coming-of-age story that starts and ends with pain, but the romance is beautiful and immensely moving. I was ...

Today we're talking about GLITTER KISS, a  graphic novel in which a publicly maligned girl turns the jerks at school into girls for a day so that they can experience the patriarchy for themselves. It's fun and feisty at the same time.

Clueless: Senior Year is 100% 90's Fun

Clueless gets the graphic novel treatment! I really loved spending some time with Cher, Dionne, and Tai. If you need a break from the 2017 hellscape, this is a fresh and fun choice.
