December is usually light on new book releases and this year is no exception. There are still a bunch to look forward to and I've read a couple I can recommend!
Now that I've finished grad school, I'm hoping to have some brain energy for writing again. This is a short post, however, because I have a lengthy feature due and ought to be spending my time on that. Sigh.

The Fake Mate, by Lana Ferguson - I still can't believe Berkley/a trad publisher is putting out an alpha/omega shifter erotic romance with a character going into heat on page, but here we are. This book made me blush. "Yes, alpha."
Raiders of the Lost Heart, by Jo Segura - Jen Comfort described this as Lara Croft and Indiana Jones banging in the jungle fanfic and yes, yes it is. I never quite warmed to the MMC (he did some shady things) but I loooved Corrie, so it's fine.
The Serpent & the Wings of Night, by Carissa Broadbent - This self-published duology was picked up for reissue and I was happy to have an excuse to read them for my other review gig. Vampires x Hunger Games with a sizzling romance. I'll definitely keep reading these.
