Kickstarter Projects to Check Out Today

Having recently backed a bunch of projects, I'm busy reading comics to review them before they go up for sale to the public. Does that stop me from backing more projects? Of course not.

Here are a few I've recently backed and/or think may appeal to Love in Panels readers:

Can I Pet Your Werewolf?
Can I Pet Your Werewolf? is a light-hearted anthology featuring tales of friendship, family, and romance shared between those who get hairy under a full moon. The volume will be 160 black & white pages. (The PDF will only set you back $10.)

Dirty Diamonds #8: Sex (an all-girl comic anthology)
We asked female comic creators to tell us their thoughts behind the act of sex, and they delivered! Their stories are personal, powerful, real, raw, hilarious, ridiculous, and stunningly smart. Too often women are told how they should feel about their sexuality and what they should do with their bodies, and now more than ever we need women telling the world how they perceive, experience, and feel about sex! The volume will be over 200 pages, and you can even get past volumes (each with a different theme) when you pledge.

The Secret Loves of Geek Girls: Redux!
This is a sequel/follow-up to The Secret Loves of Geek Girls, which is worth checking out if you haven't yet. (LiP will enventually review it, promise.) With short stories, mixed media, and comics, the creators are able to tell a variety of stories about their geeky selves.

Speculative Relationships: Volume 3
The third (and final) in a series of sci-fi romance anthologies. Harking back to the sci-fi comics of the 50's and 60's, these anthologies bring love to infinity and beyond. Vol. 3 is 180 black & white pages, but for $10 you can get a PDF of all three volumes.

Happily Ever Aftr: The Graphic Novel!
Happily Ever Aftr is about a kidnapped princess who uses a dating app to find knights to come and rescue her. It also follows the princesses captor, Gretchen Grimhold, as she comes to terms with what love means to her. For generations, the firstborn Grimhold child has kidnapped a bride for marriage. So naturally, Gretchen follows tradition and kidnaps a beautiful bride for herself. This, unfortunately, does not sit well with her father who is not so accepting. Gretchen must now come to terms with her own sexuality as well as deal with the pressures put on her by her father.

If you haven't yet fallen down the Kickstarter rabbit-hole, I'm sorrynotsorry. Have fun, read comics, support creators!
