It's been a while since we did one of these, but here are four I just backed that you might be interested in, too. Yes, I have a problem. No, I don't want to fix it.

Destiny, NY: Stories

This is a fun f/f series about women with a magical destiny (The Chosen One), and what happens after you fulfill that destiny. I loved the first volume so much that it was one of my best of 2017.

If you've been following along with the series, these are bonus short stories. You can also pick up the whole series if you're interested.

The books will likely be up for sale afterward (the first two have been) but if you want in on the Kickstarter for the bonus comics and stuff, it ends on August 23.

Come Together: A European Anthology of Erotic Comics

From the campaign:

Come Together is an erotic anthology featuring a host of comic talents from all over Europe.

Our book's theme is Reunion; old friends sharing sizzling tension in a Finnish sauna, long distance lovers yearning for each other on a train ride to rural Italy, rival fashion designers clashing in battles of sexual prowess in Berlin, and more.

Thirteen stories from many cultures and countries, covering a multitude of times, places, peoples and sexualities... In a world growing increasingly more divided, it's time to Come Together.

Funding through August 31.

ELEMENTS: Earth

This is the second in an award winning comics anthology series featuring the work of creators of color.

From the campaign:

ELEMENTS is an all-ages LGBTQ+ friendly comic anthology focused on creators of color sharing comics with an EARTH theme. The book will be 272-pages, standard graphic novel sized, printed in black & white with a beautiful Pantone spot color. This book is packed with original stories that show our representation in science fiction, fantasy and more! Brought to you by Ascend Comics.

This campaign is funding through September 9.

YOU DIED: An Anthology of the Afterlife

I will back anything Spike/Iron Circus puts up. They are excellent at curating anthologies and always deliver the end product. Also I enjoy morbid things and perhaps you do, too.

From the campaign:

Death is, truly, the one thing we all have in common. But that doesn't make it easy to talk about.

None of us can agree on what happens after the end comes, or about how much we should think about it beforehand, or even what death should mean to the living. But who says there's anything wrong with that? Not us.

This Iron Circus Comics anthology features a line-up of cartoonists, both new and notable, relating their favorite stories, myths, hopes, and suspicions about death, dying, and even The Great Beyond.

This project is funding through August 21.
