Little Moments of Love is a collection of Chetwynd’s popular webcomic, based on her relationship with her boyfriend. I’ve followed Catana Comics for a while on Instagram after my partner sent me a particular cute comic that reminded him of us. Her work is relatable and witty, and I always read her work when it appears on my feed.

I think that’s what would draw most people to this collection - to see her work together in one volume. However reading page after page of it, it gets a tad tiresome. Sure the comic is still cute and adorable. There was a handful that even made me chuckle. But I think what makes Catana Comics work online doesn’t transfer well to a collection. By the end I was like I GET IT YOU TWO ARE IN LOVE GOSH. When it’s presented in its original format, I never feel that way. I think if I didn’t read this volume in one sitting I may have enjoyed it more, but together you realize that it’s a non-threatening representation of m/f love in a lackluster collection.
