Fantasy romance fans, we have a treat for you today!

Stephanie Burgis is releasing her novella from The Underwater Ballroom Society anthology as a standalone and the cover is gorgeous.

The Underwater Ballroom Society is an anthology of fantasy and sci-fi stories that sounds really cool. We didn't review it at the time because only two of the stories are romance, but you might want to take a look! The full anthology is up for sale through April 2019, and you'll be able to get Stephanie's fantasy romance novella on its own on October 30, 2018!

Here's the blurb:

In the world of the Harwood Spellbook, 19th-century Angland is ruled by a powerful group of women known as the Boudiccate - but in order to become a member of that group, a lady must be not only a ruthless politician but also the wife of a gentleman mage.

Amy Standish is a born politician, and she's spent all her life training for the moment when she will finally step into the political arena with a rising mage as her match...which makes it entirely unfortunate that, just as all of her careful plans are coming together, she is faced with the hopelessly impractical and irresistible prospect of Jonathan Harwood - a man who will never, ever be a mage.

Now, on the night of the Harwoods' Spring Solstice Ball, in an underwater ballroom full of sparkling fey lights and danger, Amy will have to fight the greatest political battle of her life to win a family and a future that she could never have imagined...and it will take an entirely unexpected kind of magic to keep everything from crashing down around her.

Published first in the anthology The Underwater Ballroom Society on April 30th, 2018. To be republished as a standalone e-book on October 30, 2018.

Warning: this novella contains forbidden romance, dangerous magic, and political intrigue in an underwater ballroom. What could possibly go wrong?

So, what do you think? I'm in love with the view of the underwater plants outside the window, the dress, the way the light hits the heroine's skin, the magic at her fingers...
