Clueless gets the graphic novel treatment! I really loved spending some time with Cher, Dionne, and Tai. If you need a break from the 2017 hellscape, this is a fresh and fun choice.

We took an early look at SPINNING, a graphic memoir out Sept. 12 from Tillie Walden and First Second books. It's a coming-of-age coming-out story that takes place largely on the ice.

Due to the limitations of the special code our tech wizard wrote, Martial Outlet is posted separately below. It's a short comic with a hate-to-want-you feel, complete with literal throwing down.

Suzanne read two comics from Monica Gallagher (Lipstick Kiss Press) and, since they were both short, we're posting them both today! Bonnie N. Collide is a roller derby girl meets accounting boy office romantic comedy.

I reached the end of a fantasy romance comic and... no HEA. You can probably imagine my disappointment. But I still liked it? This is a long review, so enjoy these screenshots before you read.

Windrose seems to be going for a slow burn romance between two of the main characters, and I dig it. Leon loves Angeline but she's falling for Danielle. Danielle feels... ? We don't know! There was an almost kiss, but with all the kidnapping and escaping and thievery and lying... who knows what's next?!

(I keep typing that as "makeshirt," which is not something that happens in this book.)

We took a break from playing Dream Daddy to read the first issue of Moonstruck, a new paranormal coffeeshop romance comic from Grace Ellis and Shae Beagle. It's really cute and fun and romancey. It'll make your day better.

Gothic Tales of Haunted Love was one of my most anticipated titles of 2018. I backed it on Kickstarter and was enchanted by the images I saw in preview. You can read the launch post here.
