It's been a pretty fun three years. It's also been a pretty stressful three years and as everyone keeps reminding me, "no one reads blogs anymore." I decided early on that I wanted to have an actual website and not just a social presence because not everyone is on the same platform and because I wanted to build a searchable database for comics (and then for romance) to help readers find books they'd like to read without having to search through our Twitter feed. We've become a diverse seven person team and I'm happy that we're invested in this flawed genre that we love. But the fact remains that blogging is a lot of work. I've run my well dry. To that end, Love in Panels will be on hiatus for the month of July while I figure out what I want to do. I know that I can't keep spending 20+ hours a week on this project, but I don't know what that means for the future. I'll be giving the Twitter password to Margrethe, a great friend who will save me from myself, but I will likely still troll Instagram from time to time. (You can [follow me there](http://instagram.com/loveinpanels) if you want!) Reviews of any books that release in July will either be postponed until after July 31st or not published at all. If you are a publisher or author and were hoping for coverage, I'm sorry for not following through. TL;DR - Running LiP isn't fun anymore and I'm taking July off in order to reassess and figure out if LiP will keep going and what that might look like.
