Continuing our new tradition of publishing the month's TBR way after the month is over, here are some June picks that I've already read and more I'm looking forward to!
July's list should be coming soon. Hope you've been reading something great.

June Releases I've Already Read:
Disclosure: I received copies of these books from the publisher for review.
June 25 - Finding Mr. Write, by Kelley Armstrong - As you could guess from the title, this is another "meta" book. The FMC is a debut author of a YA zombie survival novel and had to pretend to be a man to get published. She hires a very sexy accountant to be her public persona. Hijinx ensue. I liked this a lot more than I expected, especially since some of it reminded me of what Santino Hassell and his wife did a few years ago. Without the financial scamming, though. In the end, this is a solid book and I liked the relationship between the two leads. It's pretty heavy on the publishing stuff though, so if that's not your jam I'd say give this a pass. Audio note: This is a dual narration with some non-obnoxious sound effects. I thought the narrators did an excellent job.
June 18 - The Art of Catching Feelings, by Alicia Thompson - I wrote about this for Shelf Awareness, but they haven't posted it yet. Essentially, this accidental catfishing book has no right to be as good as it is. After With Love, From Cold World and now this, I've put Alicia Thompson on my auto-buy list.
June 25 - The Hunter's Gambit, by Ciel Pierlot - DNFed this dark vampire fantasy novel. I just couldn't get into it and it wasn't what I expected.
June 11 - One Last Summer, by Kate Spencer - Another DNF. I liked Spencer's debut a lot and had high hopes. This one ended up feeling like all the other lake house vacation romances I've read recently. Happy Place, for example. It's a second chance with a friend group and pivotal career decisions.
June 11 - Not in Love, by Ali Hazelwood - Not as strong as Hazelwood's other books, but still a fun read. It's way spicier than I expected.
June 4 - Daughter of the Merciful Deep, by Leslye Penelope - I loved this! The worldbuilding was great, both the real-world and the fantastical. The town felt like a real town, populated by well-developed characters. I’ve read several of this author’s books and I think this is her best yet. Audio Note: The narration really brought the different characters to life, especially the interstitial bits with the goddess narrating.
June 4 - The Wren in the Holly Library, by K.A. Linde - You can read my thoughts on this one here.
