The third and final book in Amanda Bouchet’s Kingmaker Chronicles, HEART ON FIRE, comes out today. (January 2, 2018) Since it’s the series finale, it’s virtually impossible to write this review without spoilers for the previous books, but I am going to try my very darndest. To that end, I have composed a list of five things I think readers should know about HEART ON FIRE. Here goes.

The Falconer Trilogy, by Elizabeth May

Elizabeth May's Falconer Trilogy starts off treading very familiar ground, but quickly leaves the path in favor of a deep and creative exploration of Faerie mythology. Spoiler: there are no falcons.
The Coyote's Chance, by Holley Trent

Sometimes a book is just not for me, and this was sadly the case here. I made it to about 30% into the book before I gave up due to my own triggers being pressed. There's a lot to love in THE COYOTE'S CHANCE, though, so please keep reading. It may very well be the book for you!
Review: It Takes Two to Tumble, by Cat Sebastian
[fa icon="calendar'] Dec 6, 2017 10:10:00 AM / by Suzanne posted in review
What if Maria (from the Sound of Music) was actually a strait-laced vicar with a heart of gold and the Captain was still a captain? What if they had to navigate said vicar's dodgy family history, societal expectations, and an awful neighbor who was taxing his tenants out of house and home? And what if they had to do all of this with three unruly children mucking about?
Hijinks, dear reader. Hijinks and sexy boathouse shenanigans and stodgy men having those dreaded feelings about one another.
IT TAKES TWO TO TUMBLE is the first in a new series from Cat Sebastian, who writes male/male historical romance that is funny and sweet and full of banter.
Cat Sebastian has started a new series.
Long-Running Series: Thoughts on Duke of Desire, The Final Maiden Lane Novel

I'm writing this about two hours after finishing the final full-length Maiden Lane novel and well, I have some thoughts. (Obviously.) This is a twelve novel series with two novellas, the last of which drops on Tuesday, December 5th. It's holiday themed and you can bet I have that thing on pre-order.

This is a repost of a review Suzanne wrote for Heroes & Heartbreakers. This fabulous book comes out TODAY, 11/28/17, so if you get that "OMG I NEED IT" feeling, you can read it right away! Grab some cookies and cuddle up.
A Hope Divided, by Alyssa Cole
[fa icon="calendar'] Nov 17, 2017 11:39:27 AM / by Suzanne posted in review
It’s easy to assume that, given the similarities in premise - black spy heroine meets white spy hero during the American Civil War - the first two books in Alyssa Cole's Loyal League series would read alike. Cole’s trademarks are all here in A HOPE DIVIDED: beautiful writing with cutting observations and resonant imagery, a evident depth of research into both events and occupations, and a careful exploration of trust and loyalty. That said, this second novel is tonally very different from the first. While AN EXTRAORDINARY UNION pushed and pulled the two main characters together with acts of daring and heroism, including espionage and physical confrontations, A HOPE DIVIDED is a quieter story.

Hard Wired, by Megan Erickson & Santino Hassell

HARD WIRED is the third in Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell's co-written Cyberlove series and, while it wasn't quite as perfect as the first two, it was still a really solid read.
