One positive, however, is that I've been able to catch some of the books with delayed releases. This seems to be increasing again and I encourage you to check your pre-orders for updates.

Happy February! It's that time of year, so the virtual panels are everywhere and it's a glorious thing. Avoid the thinkpieces, embrace the presentations!

It's 2022 and we're still in a pandemic. I'm tired and grumpy and I'm sure you are, too. But hey, we've got books!
Before we get to the list, I want to let you know I'm making a couple of changes to these posts. For one, I won't be compiling monthly lists over at Bookshop anymore. Folks aren't using them and it seems a misuse of my time. Second, I started making lists over at Amazon. Let me know what you'd like in the future!

I feel this every month, but this time I fear it's more true than ever: what follows is a list of books coming out in September, of which I will read very few.
I started graduate school at the end of August and between that, my job, my kids and my other commitments, I'm going to be reading a lot less fiction. And even less writing about it. We'll see how this goes for Love in Panels.
The best thing though, is that books don't expire! I'm going to continue making these lists because hey, I still want to know what's coming out... and adding to TBR Mountain.

July! Popsicles and brownouts and days so hot your fingers slip on your ereader. July is frequently a slower month for book releases as it follows the intense push in May and June to get all those "beach reads" out. But as you'll see, there are still a lot of books coming out this month, so let's get to it!

School's almost out and I don't really know what's happening, just that I'm probably going to be reading far fewer books until cooler weather returns. Luckily, this coincides with the release of a ton of books I really want to read. (Sarcasm font.)
