SQUARED AWAY is the fifth book in Albert’s Out of Uniform m/m series, which is about Navy SEALs falling in love. Showing up for a series on the fifth book is just as unlikely for me as reading a series with characters in the military (usually too stressful for me), but in this book, Albert wrote a demisexual character, and I will read almost anything with a character on the asexuality spectrum.

Theresa Romain's latest historical romance follows in the footsteps of others, with characters outside the aristocracy and a bit of a mystery. It's charming but not quite what I'd hoped for, in fact it took me a couple of weeks to finish. There's still a lot to love, however, so let's get into it!

Review: A Duke Like No Other, by Valerie Bowman

A Duke Like No Other is a second chance-romance, meaning Mark and Nicole had a relationship before. They were even married, but separated not long after the wedding. Over the course of the book we get flashbacks to how they met, fell in love and why they split up. The reason for breakup was their immature behavior (mostly from Mark who misunderstood a situation and immediately assumed the worst but also from Nicole who reacted to the accusations by leaving the country instead of waiting for Mark to calm down and then explain things).

We are so excited to welcome author L. Penelope to Love in Panels to talk about her new book, SONG OF BLOOD AND STONE!

I've been waiting for this since Limerence announced it, and I'm super pleased with the result!

The first 25 pages is set-up: what are pronouns and why is it important to use the correct pronouns when referring to or talking to a person.

The middle section is the how-to portion of the book. How to use gender neutral pronouns in a professional setting, when you don't ...

Spring seems to have finally sprung for most of us in North America, and April is the beginning of what is the start of my busy time at the office.  My favorite way to unwind? Browsing the virtual and physical shelves looking for historicals to add to my insane TBR. Hey, some people play golf, I go book browsing.  Here are the historicals catching my eye this month:

Something I love about Georgia Beers’s books is all the heart that she puts into her stories. Her characters are decent people falling in love in gentle ways. For those reasons, I was ready to love BLEND, but it ended up feeling a bit flat.

WANNA BET? is a story filled with British talk and best-friend banter, supportive friends, some light-hearted gambling (no destructive, life-crushing, dark aspects of gambling; just an occasional rolling of dice for little moments fun) and lots of incredible, playful, engaging sex.
